Marquette Photographers

yes, but we are so much more …

At Ink & Opal Co., we believe that your wedding day deserves to be remembered exactly as it felt.
The quiet breath before you walk down the aisle. The laugh that shakes your shoulders. The way the light spills across the lake as you promise forever.

We’re a photo and video team based in Marquette, Michigan, capturing love stories all across the Upper Peninsula — from tucked-away nuptials on the rocks of Presque Isle to celebrations that fill the air with music and family at local wedding venues.

Meet the Founder

Tiff is a Marquette local with experience shooting weddings and elopements for 9 years here in the Upper Peninsula. Not only does the area hold her here with its sense of home but also her family ties to the Eastern U.P.

Her work represents her belief that marriage is sacred yet this sacred-ness can be found outside as well as in churches.

Film photography plays a big part in Tiff’s artistic process. While she shoots film for client work, her shots taken out-of-office fuel her love of the medium and has allowed her to master her craft of shooting digital and film together.

How It Works

Here’s what you can expect when you reach out:

  1. You inquire. We chat about your vision, what you want your day to feel like, and how we can help bring it to life.

  2. You’re matched with the right fit. I personally take on all elopements and small weddings, while my team covers traditional weddings at local venues.

  3. We plan together. For elopements, I guide you through location scouting, timeline design, vendor recommendations, and logistics.

  4. You celebrate — we document. My team and I move quietly, blending into the day, capturing every laugh, tear, and fleeting glance.

  5. You relive it all. Through photos and films that feel like memories — not moments manufactured for the camera.

We work in a true documentary style, which means we don’t force moments — we wait for them.

We’ll offer gentle direction when needed, but the real magic happens when you forget the camera is there. Our goal is to tell the story of your wedding day with honesty, artistry, and reverence for what’s real.

Whether your day is a wild northern adventure or a candlelit dinner surrounded by family, we’ll be there — quietly crafting your story, so you can be fully present in it.

Our Style

A Note from Tiff

At the heart of every wedding I’ve ever photographed is this truth:

Love isn’t made up of grand gestures — it’s the in-between moments that matter most.

Ink & Opal Co. was built to honor those moments.

The way he reaches for your hand.
The laughter that fills the room.
The way time seems to slow down — just for you two.

Wherever your story takes place, we’ll be there to document it honestly, beautifully, and without interruption.
