I’m Tiffany, a professional wedding photographer in Marquette Michigan specializing in photo, video, and design for adventurous souls. I’m a dog person, a six on the Enneagram, and a coffee enthusiast. I am a nomadic homebody that values loyalty, love and artistic expression.
I’m all about creating the best experience for my clients — this means that not only am I passionate about capturing your wedding or elopement but I am also going to make sure I’m nurturing an environment to represent your story in the best way. I’ve been photographing moments from the second I picked up a camera more than 10 years ago. My style of photo and video is centered around the micro-moments that make up businesses, relationships, marriages, weddings.
We get asked about the meaning behind our name fairly often and here it is — we married our photo/video skills with our graphic design abilities. We wanted a name that represents our services, style and our spirit as a company.

The analog process of art is important to our design process. Physical ink plays a part in the preliminary part of our digital design work so we put it in our name to represent the analog techniques that we adore in our art process. Sketches start off every logo, every website, every branding packet … you get the idea.

You’ve probably heard the meaning of opal as, “precious stone,” or “queen of gems,” but we’re really focused on the reflected light that an opal emits (we’re photographers and videographers after all, we're kind of obsessed with light). We’re really here to be a light to our clients, meaning it’s our priority to show love to everyone because of the love that we have been shown.

This is the definition of a commercial business, yes. However, we added this to our name with the second dictionary meaning in mind — “the fact or condition of being with another or others, especially in a way that provides friendship and enjoyment.” We strive to make Ink & Opal Co. an organization that values the company of people.
Simply. The. Best. Tiffany at Ink & Opal Co. is hands down the best! I recall searching for photographers in the area and all had such wonderful photos. What drew me to Ink & Opal was the story behind the images and within the videos themselves. Tiffany's true artistic ability shined through in her storytelling and I knew right away that she was a fabulous choice to capture our engagement photos and intimate wedding. The elopement photos were hands down the best - as soon as I received them I had one printed and hung on our wall. As for the wedding, we got married Sept. 16 and within a week received a message from Tiffany linking to a thoughtful blog post along with a sneak peek of our photos and video teaser. We are so excited to receive the rest of our images and full video, but I just had to leave a review right away.
