Prompt over Posing

Valuing direction while photographing is essential to what I do. I’m going to prompt you, direct you but I won’t be posing you in stiff stances that take away the authenticity of what we’re doing here - documenting your elopement in a way that tells your narrative.

Story-Forward Photos & Film

The priority? The story that shows the authentic love you share with your person. You’ll find intentional shots, film-inspired captures and documentary photos and films with me.

Location Expert

This is my home. The Upper Peninsula is not only where I live but it’s also a place where I have had time to walk trails, find locations, scout areas. This allows me to know the best spots, the best times and the best stays for your elopement. Whether you have a planner or you’ve chosen to plan the details, I am typically a helpful part of the timeline planning, logistic and stay recommendations and, of course, locations.

Any information can be found online these days - spots can be found on Google maps and Instagram. However, I can say I have felt the ground in these places, inhaled the forest air on these trails and listened to the lapping waves of the local Lake Superior shoreline. I understand the type of connection you have with the Upper Peninsula because I have my own connection with this vast area.
